1999 Sapphire Blue Mica 10th Anniversary Edition named "lil' blue fairy"

My life began on January 24th, 1949 in Bedford Indiana. I lived there until my parents and I moved to Miami Florida when I was 11. When I was almost 18 I met Bunny’s Dad, my first husband. He went into the Air Force and that is how I came to live in the Charleston area. We were divorced in 1985 and I was single for a couple of years until I met a much “younger man” whom I married 5 years later. After 10 years ( in 2003) we were divorced. During the past 4 years Bunny talked to me about getting a Miata but I never really considered it seriously until just a few months ago. The last 2 years have been hard on me (2 heart surgeries and a bad divorce) and I finally decided that maybe what I needed right now was a complete change…Miata here I come…Bunny helped me find a 1999 10th AE and it is beautiful and I love it and am having fun being in the Lowcountry Miata Club. I am going to school at Trident Tech for bookkeeping and hope to get my certificate in the spring (May 2004) and if anyone knows of a good job I will be looking this summer. This is the kind of work I have done for many years, but now will have the papers to prove it. Bunny told me that driving the Miata was like an anti-depression pill and she is right. There is nothing like putting the top down and going for a ride, even if it is only to the grocery store…what a way to go…
I look forward to meeting lots of good people and having fun…
GO MIATA !!!!!!!!
Bio update:
I left off some very important info, so here goes…
On August 26th 1969 a very important event happened…that’s right my daughter, Bunny Sue Davis, was born. You all know her as Bunny McElwee, thanks to Bob…my great son-in-law. As Bunny was growing up I guess we had a pretty normal life with it’s usual ups and downs at least until her Dad and I divorced, and that isn’t that unusual now-a-days…During her senior year we were both working for a pizza delivery place called Tele-Chef…they had really good pizza and awesome fried chicken…just ask Bob. That is where Bunny met Bob and I met my second husband…Love and Pizza what more could you ask for? As I said previously I am now divorced (2nd time around). Still love pizza, but not the 2nd husband…hahaha
I also forgot to mention that I have several pets who I love dearly. I have a Miniature Pincher, a miniature dachshund and a kitty cat. The pincher is named “Baby” and it is really what she is. The dachshund is named “Sable” which was a female wrestler at the time I got her (named by my 2nd husband). And the kitty cat came to me by way of my best friend, Hazel who took her in and had her fixed and kept her until I moved to my present home. Kitty’s name is “Prissy” and she is very prissy and loves ice cream and potato chips thanks to my friends husband. I love my animals just as if they were human and some times they seem like they are. They really lift your spirits when you are down and they don’t talk back…hahaha…
I am now getting on with my life…Miata life!!!!...and I am not opposed to finding love again, but “he” must love me, my animals and most of all…what else? … “Miatas”!!!!!!!
