2002 Vivid Yellow Special Order named "Woodstock"
Sal & Geri met each other at a family wedding in 1966 and dated for about 2 years both then lost touch with each other when Sal went off to College in Kalamazoo, Michigan and Geri married and began a family.
It wasn't until 1990 that their roads crossed again after each had succumbed to failed marriages.
Sal and Geri married in 1991 and settled in San Diego California where Sal had resided since 1970.
They bought their first Miata "Candie" a 1994 Montego Blue as a Valentines gift for Geri.
That was the first in a series of 5 Miata love affairs.
Their current Miata is a 2002 LE Vivid Yellow named Woodstock (after the cartoon bird, not after the happening).
When Sal retired from 33 years of Government Civil Service he and Geri moved from San Diego to Summerville, SC.
Sal has served as Secretary, Vice-President and President of the San Diego Miata Club and is currently the Vice-President of the LowCountry Miata Club. Geri served as the Events Coordinator for the Miata Club and is currently the Membership Chair for the LowCountry Miata Club.
Sal enjoys golfing and woodworking and Geri is self-employed with Geri's Bazaar manufacturing Miata accessories.
They are both active Miata members and enjoy driving their Miata and being with fellow Miata enthusiasts.
